HOBO U9 Motor On/Off Data Logger
The HOBO U9 Motor On/Off data logger monitors motor on and off conditions or a single wire carrying a large AC current. It logs the motor on and off status through thousands of cycles - making it ideal for energy audits and equipment monitoring applications. The logger can conveniently be mounted directly on the motor housing (or very close to a given AC field source) without requiring direct access to the motor. Mounting very close to the field source is critical as magnetic field intensities fall off rapidly with increasing distance from their source. If you cannot mount the logger directly on the motor housing, mounting the logger to one phase or "leg" of power going to the motor may be an alternative if the field in the "leg" is large enough. A HOBOware software and cable kit is required for operation.
